The Art of Recycling

Can you throw away beautiful paper? I can't do this most of the time and I don't want to do it and so I collected quite a lot of paper scraps over the years especially all this paper which is left over when I cut my photos into squares. Most of the time these are strips of Hahnemühle fine art printing paper which measure about 4 to 5 cm. And then I also have quite a lot of discarded prints...

On Gennine's blog I recently found this idea and I thought I could make something similar with my papers! So I glued the paper strips on the back of the discarded prints and pressed them under some of my photo art on wood and then I cut tags out of it (with the help of an old price tag). Then I only punched some holes and worked a little on the edges of the tags. Now I only have to add ribbons and I think I will perhaps just use some wool which can surely be found somewhere in the depths of my cabinet ;-)

DIY: Polymer Gift Tags

Yesterday it was raining so hard and the light was so bad that I needed a very simple little project to make me a little happier. So I decided to create polymer gift tags. It was very easy and I had a lot of fun! And next time my kids will join me, I'm sure they'll love it, too :-)

And I prepared a little present set for you which you can find in my Demoiselle Libellule shop: a set of four Ranunculus cards in a transparent envelope together with my romantic notepad plus one of the polymer tags!
