Summerday/ Sommertag

Verschnupftes Aufstehen, Frühstück, duschen, Flohmärkte im Glockenbach, Sonnenschein, gückliche, trampolinspringende Kinder im Hof von lieben Freunden, ein leckeres Bioessen im Restaurant mit zufrieden pfannkuchenessendem und malendem Nachwuchs, eine Tüte voller Kinderbücher und netter Kleinigkeiten, ein Eis an der Isar, zum Abendessen Tomatensalat mit viel Schnittlauch vom Balkon, frischem Fladenbrot und leckerem Käse, müde Füße hochlegen und eine Internetrunde drehen  und gleich ab ins Bett!
Waking up with a cold, breakfast, shower, fleamarkets in a nice quarter of Munich, sunshine, my kids jumping on the trampoline at a lovely friend's court, a delicious organic meal at a restaurant, my little ones happy with their pancakes and a colouring book, a bag full of children's books and other little things, icecream at the river, dinner with tomatoe salad and chives from the balcony, fresh pita bread and delicious cheese, putting up my feet and visiting blogs and soon going to bed!

Endlich habe ich mich an ein Mixed Media Bild gewagt. Ich hatte es schon lange vor, wollte eine Fotografie mit anderen Collagematerialien und Farben kombinieren und vor allem wollte ich endlich wieder richtig mit meinen Händen arbeiten. Mit Pinseln und auch direkt mit der Hand habe ich die unterschiedlichen Schichten Kleber und Farbe aufgetragen, ein sinnlicher Prozess, der mir gut gefallen hat.
I finally dared to make a mixed media collage. I wanted to do that a long time ago, to combine a fotography with other collage materials and painting and first of all I wanted to work with my hands again. With brushes and also directly with my hands I applied the layers of glue and paint, a very sensual, tactile process which I enjoyed a lot.

Und heute ist auch Kelly Ray Roberts Buch angekommen, das eine perfekte Ergänzung zu den Flying Lessons ist und sich außerdem auch ganz konkret mit Mixed Media Techniken befasst. Da habe ich wieder eine ganze Menge zu verarbeiten und auszuprobieren!
And today I got Kelly Ray Roberts book which is a perfect completion of the Flying Lessons and besides it is full of mixed media techniques. A lot of new input and a lot of things I have to try out!
