April Weather

Regen, sogar ein bisschen Schnee und Kälte, aber auch immer wieder mal Sonnenschein, das ist wirklich typisches Aprilwetter! Die Blumen sehen auf jeden Fall so frisch geduscht ziemlich hübsch aus :-)

Rain, even some snow and cold but also some sunshine, that's really typical April weather! The flowers look quite pretty after a little shower :-)

Und der Mai bringt uns dann sicherlich auch endlich etwas mehr Wärme...

Per Aspera Ad Astra

Irgendwie musste ich an diesen Spruch aus dem Lateinunterricht denken, als ich mir das Bild von den wunderschön im Abendlicht leuchtenden trockenen Disteln ansah. Wörtlich heisst er ja übersetzt: vom Rauen zu den Sternen.
Somehow I suddenly remembered this quote from my latin lessons at school when I looked at the photo of the dry thistle glowing beautifully in the evening sun. Literally translated it means: from the rough/raspy to the stars.

Angel's Wings

Wieder einmal habe ich an den schönen Engelsspruch von Luciano de Crescenzo denken müssen.  Und dieses Diptychon ist nun daraus entstanden:

I had to think once again of this beautiful angel quote from Luciano de Crescenzo. And this what I made out of it:

Peace starts within ME

Irgendwie war das zweite Bild des letzten Beitrages noch nicht ganz fertig, irgendetwas fehlte noch. Inspiriert von Julias' schönen Karten habe ich nun noch diesen Spruch, den ich schon länger in meinem Gedankenbuch stehen habe, hinzugefügt:

Ist es nicht auch ansonsten so, die Begrenzungen sind oft in uns selbst? Machen wir uns frei von unseren inneren Begrenzungen und fangen wir an, unser Leben tagtäglich neu zu sehen und zu gestalten!
Isn't it anyway true that the limitations are often in ourself? Let us be free from these inner limitations and start to see and create our life each day in a new and fresh way!
