Demoiselle Libellule

Uff, Weihnachten ist schon wieder vorbei und es war wie immer wunderschön und anstrengend. Da wir fast alle ein wenig krank waren, fiel leider die Kinderchristmette für uns aus und auch den Schnee haben wir fast nur vom Fenster aus gesehen.  Aber dafür wurde gebastelt und gewerkelt (mit Perlen, Bienenwachsknete, Holz und Hobel), gespielt (sämtliche "Kartonspiele", vor allem aber "Das verflixte verrückte Labyrinth) und natürlich gefeiert, musiziert und üppig gegessen! Irgendwann haben wir dann auch Cupcakes gebacken, die waren schön und lecker, wobei meine Kleinen lieber meine normalen Muffins mögen und auf das üppige Frischkäse-Butter-Zucker Topping nicht so heiß waren. Die Rosen waren meiner Süßen sowieso viel zu schön zum Essen und mussten aufbewahrt werden :-)
Whew, Christmas is already over and it has been wonderful and exhausting as it always is. Because we had all been a little ill and so we didn't go to the Christmas Mass (there is one for children which is always so nice) and we almost only saw the snow looking out of the window. But there was a lot of crafting done inside  (with pearls, beewax modelling clay, wood and plane (plough?)), a lot of playing (parlour games and especially one which is called "The darned labyrinth") and of course we celebrated Christmas, made music and ate a lot of good treats! We also even made cupcakes which were delicious and beautiful but my little ones still prefer normal muffins and didn't so much enjoy the topping made out of cream cheese, butter and sugar. And my little girl even found that the roses were to pretty to be eaten and so they had to be put aside :-)
